Paris Fashion Week Fix Up

There is something about Paris fashion week that makes me seriously weak in the knees. The shows are impeccably produced and the perfectly crafted masterpieces are always a dramatic surprise. Elie Saab and Valentino totally delivered this year. I'm obsessed with the vibrant colors, flowing fabrics and sequin moments seen throughout both of their insanely uh-mazing collections. Like I did with New York Fashion Week, the stylist in me has matched up the hottest looks fresh off the runway to their celebrity counterparts. When I saw the vibrant orange Alexander McQueen mini dress pictured above I knew that it desperately needed a Gaga moment. She'd kill it in this look. Although, I personally would pair the show stopper with a different color heel, maybe a hunter green or cobalt blue pump like I did in my Creative Combo's post here. Which Paris Fashion Week designs are you crushing on?

Elie Saab for Reese Witherspoon

Chanel for Blake Lively

Hakaan for Cameron Diaz

Louis Vuitton for Anna Wintour

Paco Rabanne for Kim Kardashian

Elie Saab for Anne Hathaway

Valentino for Rachel Zoe

Chanel for Victoria Beckham

Something Extra: Earlier this week I had the honor of having the outfit post below featured on Lauren Conrad's website. Be sure to check it out here. So exciting. Thanks Lauren. xo

Jack 'n Jills

Days before departing out of LAX for my trip to Alabama to see my sister compete in a beauty pageant, my fiance and I stopped by Beverly Hills eatery, Jack 'n Jills for an ultra yummy lunch. I have my fash idol, Rachel Zoe to thank for this delicious food find. The mega stylist and her dapper hubby eat here almost every weekend. I can now vouch that she not only has impeccable taste in fashion, but for food as well.  I ordered the grilled salmon caesar salad from the eclectic menu and was not disappointed. It was literally the best salad I've ever had. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't still dreaming about it. For the outing, I wore my favorite Mary Jane pumps, which I paired with a black pleated BCBGenerations skirt and coral Bar III top. I'm obsessed with this top. I love the sheerness, which gives you a peek at all of the layers underneath. To add some simplistic drama, I threw on my favorite clear beaded necklace and my favorite coveted oversized black faux animal skin handbag. After stopping by my beloved Giuseppe Zanotti store to crush on their Fall designs we headed home where I was in a serious need to edit my suitcase selections. There's just never enough room for all of my things, and sacrificing a pair of heels due to a lack of space is never an option. Oh and don't forget to check out my color blocking post, where I had a recent run in with Rachel Zoe and her hubby Rodger. What did you guys do this weekend?

Fall Footwear

Ok... I'll admit it, I'm totally and completely obsessed with shoes. To the point that I literally get tears in my eyes whenever I see a breath taking, faint worthy, oh-my-gosh what can I sell to afford those, pair of shoes. When Fall comes, well... the heels become even more uh-mazing. As we strut through September I've been obsessing majorly over jewel tones. The rich wine burgundies and deep blue turquoises are all over this years must-have holiday heels. Fall not only brings us cold weather and pumpkin spice lattes, but more importantly, some seriously fierce shoe selections. As fun as skinny stilettos and sandals are during the hot summer months, it's fall shoes that really bring on the fashion. Among my favorites are knee high boots, chunky heels, wedge booties, and ankle boots. I'm also loving luxurious leather, rich velvets and all of the gold and silver studded shoes. Above are three of my favorite fall shoes. I'm so impressed and insanely in love with Giuseppe Zanotti, Rachel Zoe and Diane Von Furstenberg's Fall 2011 collections. These ultra fabulous designers have meticulously filled their collections with all of my favorite fall trends. Below are some amazing shoes currently available online at Shopbop.com. Click the picture to shop the shoe. Which fall shoe are you lusting over?

Rachel Zoe Spring/Summer 2012

The highly anticipated spring collection from Rachel Zoe debuted yesterday during New York Fashion Week to a multitude of mixed reviews. The super stylist and my personal style icon has come a long way from styling tabloid starlets. When asked about her most recent high-end ready-to-wear collection, Rachel revealed she was influenced by Bridget Bardot in the South of France, describing the line as "easy glamour." I adore the white maxi skirt and electric blue belted jumper. Rachel's addition of color mixed between the sea of white was a nice and fresh touch to the mostly neural collection. As much as I wish I was "bananas" for Rachel's most recent looks, I'm actually slightly underwhelmed, especially compared to her show-stopping Resort 2012 collection. Though the collection has its moment and continues to solidify Rachel's design endeavors, I was hoping for some seriously trend setting pieces. We knew RZ would bring us fabulously tailored jackets, one shouldered garments, elegant gowns and maxi dresses but where are the edgy innovative pieces?  That being said, the flared trouser is impossible not to love. Above is a picture Rachel tweeted just before the presentation of her Spring 2012 collection. I'm dying to know what you think of the style mavens latest designs. Overwhelmingly fabulous or underwhelmingly predictable?
